Sundays
The Lord’s Supper: 10:30 –11:30am
On the 1st Sunday of each month we gather to celebrate the Lord’s supper. During this time any of the men who feel led to share from the Word are encouraged to do so. We conclude this time, in obedience to our Lord’s command, and partake of the elements that represent His body and blood and thus proclaim His death until His return.
Prayer: 9:30am – 10:15am
On the 2nd, 4th and 5th Sunday of the month (5th Sunday-when applicable) at 9:30 we gather together to pray. During this time the men and women meet separately (children going with whichever parent is desired) and we pray.
Worship Service: 10:30am
In a way to prepare our hearts for worship we have someone preface the service with a short prelude. The service is then opened by prayer from one of the elders. It continues with singing hymns, then a reading of Scripture and then the sermon is given by one of the elders. Our objective is to keep the main focus on the teaching of God's Word. Our elders use a book by book, verse by verse expository approach to the Word of God. We believe it is important that our children worship together with their parents, so we do not separate them from the service but have them remain with their parents. We do offer a cry room for parents who have children under 2 years of age. All our members seek to patiently support and encourage one another in cultivating an appetite for sound teaching from an early age. We close the service with a time of singing and prayer.
Potluck:
After the service we have an informal time of fellowship in the form of a potluck meal. We do this every Sunday except for the 1st Sunday of the month. This allows us time for further consideration of the morning message, time to get to know one another better and encourage one another in the Lord. Families are encouraged to bring a dish to share.
Junior Youth: 1:00pm – 2:00pm
After the Sunday potluck (except for the 1st Sunday of the month) we have junior youth for ages 5-12. This is a time of games and bible study led by one of the men at the church.
